  Ученые проведут оценку запасов биоресурсов у Курильских островов, Беринговом и Охотском морях

  В экспедиции участвуют специалисты Тихоокеанского и Камчатского филиалов ВНИРО
  
  Научно-исследовательское судно Всероссийского НИИ рыбного хозяйства и океанографии (ВНИРО) «Профессор Кагановский» вышло из порта Владивосток для проведения серии специализированных съемок в тихоокеанских водах Курильских островов, Беринговом и Охотском морях в летне-осенний период 2020 года, сообщила пресс-служба Тихоокеанского филиала (ТИНРО) института.
  
  Масштабные трехмесячные исследования позволят получить актуальную информацию о современном состоянии запасов водных биологических ресурсов и основных параметрах фонового окружения в тихоокеанских водах.
  
  На первом этапе ученые обследуют Южно-Курильский район с тихоокеанской стороны для определения численности, видового и размерного нектона, условий среды обитания. Ученые рассчитывают оценить масштаб заходов дальневосточной сардины и скумбрии, а также по возможности определить районы их скоплений и передать эту информацию рыбакам.
  
  Работы в Беринговом море будут проводиться в рамках Второй Беринговоморской экспедиции, включающей комплексное изучение биоресурсов российских вод. Помимо НИС «Профессор Кагановский» в работах в этом году также задействованы научно-исследовательские суда ВНИРО «ТИНРО» и «Дмитрий Песков». Специалисты соберут новые данные о составе и структуре донных и придонно-пелагических сообществ материкового склона западной части Берингова моря. Объектами исследований выступят треска, камбалы, палтусы, макрурусы, окуни, крабы и другие виды водных биологических ресурсов. Мониторинг запасов и распределения рыб и беспозвоночных ляжет в основу материалов обоснования прогнозов и мер регулирования промыслом.
  
  Затем судно приступит к съемке молоди горбуши в Беринговом и Охотском море, которая будет проводиться совместно с НИС «ТИНРО». Как уже упоминалось ранее, работа одновременно двумя судами позволит максимально эффективно охватить мигрирующих в открытый океан лососей на зимний нагул. В ходе исследований будут собраны сведения по численности поколения 2019 г. р., что является основной для определения прогноза вылова в 2021 году по горбуше. Ученые отберут необходимые пробы для выполнения дифференциации северных и южных стад генетическим и отолитным методами.
  
  Судно вернется во Владивосток в конце октября.
