    A. P. Moller - Maersk опробовала доставку грузов маршрутным поездом из Японии в Великобританию по Транссибу

    Поезд с партией из 40 контейнеров из Йокогамы 2 марта прибыл в Филикстоу

    В рамках развиваемых группой интермодальных решений для транспортировки грузов и опираясь на опыт в межконтинентальных железнодорожных перевозок между Азией и Европой, Maersk осуществила пробный рейс маршрутного поезда из Японии в Великобританию, с грузом спортивной одежды и аксессуаров, сообщила пресс-служба датской транспортно-логистической группы.

    Маршрутный поезд Maersk с партией из 40 железнодорожных 40-футовых контейнеров (FEU) вышел в январе из Йокогамы (Япония), пересек территорию Российской Федерации по суше и морю и прибыл на станцию в г. Филикстоу (Великобритания) 2 марта 2021 года.

    Отмечается, то это первая в истории транспортировка железнодорожным транспортом, выполненная совместно с оператором Modul, включенная в сервис Maersk AE19, который с 2019 года связывает Азию и Европу через Транссибирскую магистраль и российские порты Восточный и Санкт-Петербург.

    «Впервые, с момента своего запуска два года назад сервиса AE19 в его рамках был отправлен и доставлен полноразмерный контейнерный поезд, перевозящий товары исключительно из Японии. Транзит из Азии в Европу через Россию становится все более привлекательной альтернативой традиционной доставке грузов через Суэцкий канал, даже для таких морских маршрутов, как Япония – Великобритания. Мы уверены, что успех, достигнутый нами совместно в расширении сервиса AE19 в прошлом году вместе с РЖД и нашими партнерами в Modul, продолжит в 2021 году наращивание объемов транзитных грузов через Транссиб»,-прокомментировал Жолт Катона, глава регионального подразделения Maersk в Восточной Европе.

    «Этот железнодорожный сервис Maersk для перевозки грузов из Японии является ярким примером взаимодействия морского и железнодорожного транспорта. ОАО «РЖД» готово и дальше предоставлять нашим международным клиентам услуги отвечающие самым высоким стандартам, обеспечивать быструю и безопасную доставку на этом трансконтинентальном маршруте», - отметил заместитель директора ОАО «РЖД» Алексей Шило.

    Еще 30 лет назад одним из крупнейших контейнерных грузопотоков по Транссибирской магистрали составляли перевозки транзитных грузов из Японии в Европу. Сегодня сервис Maersk AE19 помогает возродить этот важный транзитный маршрут для грузоотправителей в Азии и Европе.

    В настоящее время в рамках интермодального сервиса AE19 осуществляется три еженедельных отправления. На сервисе, в основном, перевозятся грузы между Северо-Восточной Азией и Северной Европой. В связи с нынешней нагрузкой на морские азиатско-европейские сети, по оценке Maersk, транзитные перевозки на сервисе AE19 между Японией и Европой по Транссибирской железнодорожной магистрали продолжат расширяться и в 2021 году.
