  В Испании построили подводную лодку для оснащения самой большой в мире экспедиционной яхты REV Ocean

  В первый рейс норвежский эксплорер должен выйти в 2024 году

  В Барселоне состоялся спуск на воду подводной лодки Aurelia, построенной компанией Triton Submarins  для оснащения норвежской экспедиционной яхты REV Ocean. Как передает собственный корреспондент «Портньюс» во Франции, церемония прошла в присутствии исполнительного директора норвежской компании-заказчика Нины Йенсен, которая сообщила, что этот самоходный аппарат позволит ученым наблюдать морское дно на глубине 2300 метров через акриловую сферу с обзором в 360 градусов.

  Как ранее сообщал «Портньюс», корпус инновационного арктического эксплорера REV Ocean  был построен на румынской верфи Тulcea в 2019 году, после чего судно было передано на достройку на норвежскую верфь Vard Brattvag. Однако из-за пандемии планы строительства самого большого экспедиционного судна (длина 182,9 м, ширина 23,28 м, валовая вместимость 17 440 брутто-тонн) были изменены и выход в первый рейс перенесен с 2021 на 2024 год.

  REV Ocean может комплектоваться для эксплуатации в двух режимах: в экспедиционном (30 человек команда, 24 учёных, 36 гостей) или круизном (54 члена команды, 36 гостей). За проектом стоит норвежский миллиардер Kjell Inge Rokke, который в 2017 году решил инвестировать $500 млн в инновационное судно, способное вести исследования поверхности мирового океана и его глубин, в том числе и в арктических регионах. В ходе презентации подчеркивалось, что судно способно собирать с воды до 5 тонн мусора в день и сжигать его в спецустройстве. Эта программа по оздоровлению мирового океана была разработана совместно со специалистами Всемирного фонда дикой природы.

  Для ведения подводных исследований судно оснащается субмаринами, для их размещения предусмотрен специальный затапливаемый бассейн. Ранее, в октябре 2021 года, REV Ocean  получило от заказчика подлодку Aurora, способную опускаться на глубину до 3800 метров. Представленная в мае 2022 года Aurelia отправлена на ходовые испытания на Балеарские острова.
