  "Мечел" начал строительство железной дороги к "Эльгауглю"

  Группа "Мечел" начала строительство железнодорожного подъездного пути к Эльгинскому угольному месторождению (Якутия), говорится в сообщении группы, распространенном в четверг вечером, передает Гудок со ссылкой на Интерфакс. Общая длина железнодорожного пути составит около 315 км, из которых 60 км было ранее построено бывшим собственником месторождения - ОАО "Российские железные дороги".

  Проект дороги включает в себя порядка 420 искусственных сооружений, среди которых 194 моста. Пропускная способность пути после завершения всех этапов строительства составит 25 млн тонн в год. Инвестиции в строительство железной дороги, как сообщалось ранее, оцениваются в $900 млн.

  Строительство железной дороги является первым этапом освоения Эльгинского месторождения, добыча угля на котором, как ожидается, составит до 30 млн тонн в год. Ввод в постоянную эксплуатацию железной дороги произойдет не позднее 30 сентября 2010 года.

  "Строительство дороги будет проводиться в три этапа. Параллельно с возведением железнодорожного пути начнется разработка и самого Эльгинского месторождения. Это позволит одновременно с завершением первого этапа строительства железной дороги обеспечить возможность вывоза угля с месторождения", - заявил генеральный директор УК "Мечел" Владимир Полин, слова которого приводятся в сообщении.

  Как сообщалось, 19 февраля холдинг "Трансстрой" и группа "Мечел" подписали контракт на проектирование и строительство железнодорожного подъездного пути, соединяющего станцию Улак Байкало-Амурской магистрали с Эльгинским угольным месторождением (Якутия).

  ООО "Проектно-строительная компания "Трансстрой" - крупнейший в России холдинг, специализирующийся на возведении объектов транспортной инфраструктуры. С октября 2007 года владельцами компании в равных долях являются "Базовый элемент" Олега Дерипаски и структуры, близкие к президенту "Трансстроя" Владимиру Брежневу.

  В группе "Мечел" консолидированы контрольные пакеты акций металлургических, угледобывающих, энергетических компаний в России, Румынии и Литве, а также торговые порты. Основным бенефициаром ОАО "Мечел" являются генеральный директор группы Игорь Зюзин, free float (ADR) составляет около 25%.
