  Уникальная АПЛ проекта 661 с титановым корпусом переведена в ЦС "Звездочка" для утилизации

  Атомная подводная лодка К-222 (до 1978 года – К-162) переведена с ПО "Севмаш" к причалу Центра судоремонта "Звездочка" для дальнейшей утилизации.

  Опытная высокоскоростная АПЛ проекта 661 – уникальная субмарина, до сих пор не имеющая аналогов в мировом кораблестроении. Для создания первой советской АПЛ с корпусом из титанового сплава фактически была создана новая отрасль промышленности, сообщает пресс-служба "Севмаша".

  Корабль строился на "Севмаше" 6 лет, в 1969 году был передан в опытную эксплуатацию, в 1971 году развил рекордную скорость подводного хода 44,7 узла. За дороговизну постройки и исключительные боевые качества получил среди моряков и корабелов наименование "Золотая рыбка".

  В 1989 году подлодка была исключена из состава ВМФ, в 1999 году отбуксирована на "Севмаш" для утилизации. Однако уникальность проекта не позволила применить традиционные технологии разделки субмарин. На протяжении почти десяти лет гражданский экипаж "Севмаша" обеспечивал живучесть корабля, а вчера выполнил перевод субмарины в ЦС "Звездочка", где накоплен большой опыт в утилизации субмарин различных проектов. Проводить подлодку с родного завода пришли ее строители. С причалов Севмаша прощальными гудками ответили корабли "Юрий Долгорукий" и "Адмирал Нахимов".

  Принимая во внимание значение К-222 в истории российского кораблестроения, общественность и ветераны ВМФ выдвинули предложение сохранить рубку подводной лодки в виде мемориала.

  Судостроительный завод "Севмаш" создан в 1936 году. Основные направления деятельности предприятия:  производство военной техники для ВМФ России и зарубежных заказчиков; производство морской техники для добычи нефти и газа; гражданское судостроение; изготовление продукции технического назначения для машиностроительной, металлургической, нефтегазовой и других отраслей промышленности; гарантийный ремонт, модернизация АПЛ и надводных кораблей, утилизация; проектирование судов, морских сооружений, судового оборудования, техники для добычи нефти и газа.С 1939 года на "Севмаше" построено 45 надводных кораблей, 163 подводные лодки, из них 128 – с ядерной энергетической установкой.

  ФГУП "ПО "Севмаш" с 1 июня 2008 года преобразовано в ОАО "ПО "Севмаш".
