  Neptune Orient зафиксировала сокращение грузоперевозок впервые за три года

  Neptune Orient Lines Ltd., крупнейшая судоходная компания в Юго-Восточной Азии, зафиксировала сокращение грузоперевозок впервые за три года из-за падения спроса на потребительские товары, произведенные в Азии, в Европе и США, сообщает агентство Bloomberg. Объем контейнерных перевозок за четыре недели, заканчивающиеся 17 октября, упал на 1%.

  Судоходная компания планирует снизить объем перевозок из-за падения стоимости жилья и роста уровня безработицы, которые негативно сказались на спросе на перевозки товаров для дома, бытовой электроники и игрушек в США И Европе, пишет "Гудок" со ссылкой на "Интерфакс". Также компания ожидает впервые за шесть лет получить операционный убыток в текущем квартале.

  "Следующий год может быть еще хуже, - заявил аналитик DBS Vickers Hong Kong Ltd. Гидеон Ло. - Некоторые судовые компании, занимающиеся контейнерными перевозками, могут зафиксировать убытки из-за рецессии в мировой экономике, которая отрицательно сказывается на торговле".

  С начала года котировки акций компании упали на 67% на опасениях сокращения мировой торговли.
