LUKoil announces US GAAP-based results
The net profit of LUKoil under US GAAP slid 4.8 percent to $3.8bn in the first six months of 2007, the press office of the Russian oil giant reported today according to RBC. EBITDA amounted to $6.35bn, which is 1.76 percent lower than in the first half of 2006. Meanwhile, LUKoil's revenue stood at $33.78bn, which is 7.7 percent greater than in January-June 2006. The company's sales revenue edged down 3.6 percent to $5.324bn and pretax profit went down 6.8 percent to $5.143bn.
LUKoil's net profit grew 8.4 percent to $2.5bn in the second quarter of 2007 compared to Q2 2006. This figure is also 93.8 percent higher compared to that of Q1 2007.
