    Объем грузоперевозок ВГК в III квартале 2011 года вырос на 55% в сравнении с II кварталом – до 15,2 млн тонн

    Объем грузоперевозок ОАО «Вторая грузовая компания» (ОАО «ВГК») в III квартале 2011 года составил 15,2 млн тонн, что на 55% превышает показатель II квартала, сообщает пресс-служба компании.

    Объем среднесуточной погрузки полувагонов ОАО «ВГК» в III квартале 2011 года вырос на 64% (2 503 вагона) в сравнении со II кварталом (1 526 вагонов).

    ОАО «Вторая грузовая компания» (дочернее общество ОАО «РЖД») начало хозяйственную деятельность в 2010 году. Основным видом деятельности  является предоставление собственного подвижного состава под перевозки, а также оказание транспортно-экспедиционных и иных услуг.
    Вагонный парк, внесенный ОАО «РЖД» в оплату имущественной части уставного капитала ОАО «ВГК», в настоящее время составляет более 150 тыс. грузовых вагонов, в том числе: более 110 тыс. полувагонов, около 25 тыс. крытых вагонов, более 10 тыс. платформ и более 3 тыс. прочих. Общий объем вагонного парка, находящегося в управлении ОАО «ВГК», – более 173 тыс. вагонов (включая более 23 тыс. полувагонов на условиях договора сублизинга).

    План развития ОАО «ВГК» предусматривает открытие в 2011 году 14 филиалов на всем полигоне российских железных дорог.
