    Контейнерный терминал LCT обработал самый большой контейнеровоз за свою историю (фото)


    В начале этой недели Лондонский Контейнерный Терминал (LCT) в Тилбери, принадлежащий Forth Ports Limited, обработал самый большой за историю терминала контейнеровоз Cap San Lorenzo дедвейтом 124,5 тыс. тонн, который прибыл в порт с грузом более 9,6 тыс. TEUs, говорится в пресс-релизе владельца терминала.
     
    «LCT является единственным портом в Великобритании способным принимать как океанские, так и каботажные суда. Судозаход Cap San Lorenzo подтверждает наши возможности по быстрой обработке крупных судов вместимостью в несколько тысяч TEUs. Докеры LCT закончили разгрузку за 22 часа, на 2 часа раньше срока, с производительностью 26 операций в час», -  сказал главный операционный директор Forth Ports Перри Глэйдинг.

    Контейнеровоз Cap San Lorenzo входит в состав флота крупнотоннажных судов судоходной компании Hamburg Sud.

    Forth Ports приобрела контейнерный порт Тилбери в январе 2012 года у совладельцев DP World и Associated British Ports. После ребрендинга Тилбери, третий по величине контейнерный порт Великобритании, получил название Лондонский Контейнерный Терминал (LCT). Расположенный на берегу р. Темзы глубоководный порт является главным хабом по доставке и распределению грузов к потребителям в Лондон и юго-восток страны. В 2013 году в порту было обработано около 320 тыс. контейнеров, что на 2,4% больше в сравнении с 2010 годом. На терминалах порта обрабатываются риферные контейнеры, прибывающие в основном из Южной Америки и Южной Африки, а также с других океанский сервисов. Порт Тилбери также обрабатывает каботажные грузы. В 2011 году было перевалено около 130 тыс. контейнеров (+7,6% в сравнении с 2010 годом).
