  На китайской верфи в Гуанчжоу состоялась церемония имянаречения химовоза-продуктовоза Stena Image (фото)

  Первый танкер-продуктовоз Concordia Maritime для транспортировки химгрузов, построенный на основе концепции IMOIIMAX, получил имя Stena Image. Церемония крещения судна была проведена в минувший четверг на китайском судостроительном заводе GSI (Guangzhou Shipbuilding International) в Гуанчжоу (КНР), сообщила пресс-служба компании.
  
  Судно типоразмера MR дедвейтом 50 тыс. тонн способно перевозить различные типы грузов и отличается низким расходом топлива.
  
  Крестной матерью судна выступила управляющий директор Сельма Олссон Акефельдт (дочь Дэна Стена Олссона, основного владельца группы Stena). После церемонии танкер отправился в первый рейс из Дальнего Востока в Европу.
  
  В числе инновационных решений, реализованных в проекте Stena Teknik совместно с инженерами верфи GSI, - сокращение расхода топлива при эксплуатационной скорости на 10-20% в сравнении с другими судами такого же размера. На судне этого проекта установлены 18 различных танков вместимостью по 3 тыс. куб. м каждый для перевозки IMO2 грузов, одновременно растительного масла, химических веществ и нефтепродуктов.
  
  Передача Concordia Maritime следующего танкера-продуктовоза этой серии Stena Important планируется на октябрь 2015 года. Заказ на два танкера класса IMOIIMAX был размещен на китайской верфи в 2012 году. Общая стоимость этого контракта составляет $78 млн. Оба танкера класса IMOIIMAX пополнят флот Stena Weco из 60 с лишним судов.
  
  Concordia Maritime является международной танкерной судоходной компанией, специализирующейся в экономически эффективной и безопасной транспортировке нефтепродуктов и растительных масел. Компания вышла на рынок в 1984 году, когда ее акции серии B впервые стали котироваться на бирже Nasdaq OMX Стокгольма.
