  Верфи Meyer Werft и Meyer Turku построят для Carnival Corporation три новых круизных судна на СПГ топливе

  Carnival Corporation & plc, крупнейшая компания на рынке развлечений и туризма, подписала соглашение с немецкой и финской судостроительными компаниями Meyer Werft и Meyer Turku о строительстве и поставках трех дополнительных круизных судов нового поколения, которые будут работать полностью на сжиженном природном газе (СПГ), говорится в сообщении компании.
  
  Реализация соглашения зависит от нескольких условий, включая финансовую обеспеченность судостроительного контракта.
  
  Отмечается, что два новых лайнера для Carnival Corporation будут построены для наиболее известного в мире круизного бренда Carnival Cruise Line на финской верфи в Турку. Передача судов заказчику планируется на 2020 и 2022 годы. Еще одно круизное судно для британского оператора P & O Cruises UK будет построено на верфи группы Meyer Werft в Папенбурге (Германия) и передано в эксплуатацию в 2020 году. В связи с этим заказом сроки поставки новых судов для немецкой компании AIDA Cruises и итальянской Costa Cruises, запланированные на 2020 год, будет перенесены на 2021 год. Это необходимо, чтобы равномерно распределить суда среди 10 мировых круизных брендов Carnival Corporation.
  
  В настоящее время Carnival Corporation разместила заказы на строительство семи круизных судов на СПГ топливе для четырех из своих 10 международных круизных бренда.
  
  Ранее сообщалось, что первое судно из этой серии будет введено в эксплуатацию для AIDA Cruises и Costa Cruises в 2019 году.
  
  Проект экологичных судов Carnival являться первым поколением круизных лайнеров с движительной установкой, работающей исключительно на СПГ как в портах, так и в открытом море.
  
  В рамках плана расширения флота Carnival Corporation уже приняла три новых судна в 2016 году для круизных брендов AIDA Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line и Holland America Line. Корпорация планирует спустить на воду новый лайнер Seabourn Encore в декабре 2016 года. С учетом Seabourn Encore и трех последних заказов для Carnival Cruise Line и P & O Cruises UK, флот Carnival Corporation пополнится 18 новыми судами, со сроками поставок между 2016 и 2022 годами.
  
  Carnival Corporation & PLC является крупнейшей круизной судоходной компанией в мире. Корпорация осуществляет услуги на круизных маршрутах в Северной Америке, Европе, Австралии и Азии, где известными брендами являются Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard, P & O Cruises (Австралия) и P & O Cruises (Великобритания). Вместе, эти компании управляют круизным флотом из 100 судов и планируют получить в 2015 и 2018 годах еще 10 новых круизных лайнеров.
