  VARD спроектирует и построит экспедиционное судно для международного круизного оператора

  Vard Holdings Limited (VARD), один из крупнейших проектировщиков и строителей специализированных судов, подписал письмо о намерениях (LOI) с крупной международной круизной компанией, имя которой не разглашается по условиям соглашения. VARD обязуется разработать проект и построить судно для совершения длительных круизов по всему миру, говорится в пресс-релизе судостроительной группы.
  
  Проект экспедиционного судна будет разработан в тесном сотрудничестве с заказчиком. Судно класса «люкс» сможет разместить на борту 220 пассажиров и будет иметь в длину около 145 м и в ширину 20 м.

  Корпус судна планируется построить на румынской верфи VARD в Тулче. Передача судна заказчику запланирована на 2019 год и состоится на одной из норвежских верфей VARD.
  
  По предварительным оценкам стоимость контракта составит около 1 млрд норвежских крон.
  
  Обе стороны намерены заключить окончательный контракт в I квартале 2017 года, при условии соблюдения нескольких условий, в том числе гарантированного финансирования всего проекта.
