  Новейшее спасательное судно «Академик Александров» планируется спустить на воду 11 мая 2017 года на «Звездочке»

  На северодвинском предприятии «Звездочка» 11 мая 2017 года планируется провести церемонию вывода из эллинга (спуска на воду) новейшего спасательного буксирного судна «Академик Александров» проекта 20183 для военно-морского флота (ВМФ), сообщает департамент информации и массовых коммуникаций министерства обороны Российской Федерации. В церемонии примут участие представители главного командования ВМФ России, руководства Объединенной судостроительной корпорации, представители администрации Архангельской области и Северодвинска.
  
  Спасательное буксирное судно «Академик Александров» был заложено в декабре 2012 года и является третьим в серии из четырех судов специального назначения нового поколения, спроектированных на базе проекта вспомогательного судна проекта 20180 «Северодвинск».
  
  Головное судно этого проекта, получившее в соответствии с приказом Главкома ВМФ название «Звездочка», передано в состав ВМФ России в 2010 году. Морской транспорт вооружения «Академик Ковалев» принят в состав Тихоокеанского флота в 2015 году и выполняет задачи в составе группировки на Камчатке. Четвертое судно «Академик Макеев» заложено в 2015 году и будет передано в состав ВМФ в 2018 году.
  
  Наряду с выполнением широкого комплекса поисково-спасательных работ в морских и океанских акваториях судно «Академик Александров» предназначено для морской транспортировки крупногабаритной морской, военной и специальной техники, а также научно-исследовательского оборудования.
  
  Главное командование ВМФ планирует в перспективе применять суда этого проекта для обеспечения действий группировок и отрядов боевых кораблей в дальней и ближней морских зонах.
  
  Водоизмещение спасательного буксирного судна «Академик Александров»  – 5400 тонн, скорость – 14 узлов, экипаж – 65 человек. На судне предусмотрена взлетно-посадочная площадка для одного многоцелевого вертолета Ка-27. Ледовый класс судна Arc-5 позволяет самостоятельное плавание в однолетних арктических льдах при толщине до 0,8 м в зимне-весеннюю навигацию и до 1 м – в летне-осеннюю. Район плавания не ограничен.
