    Incotec Cargo shipped 13,200 t of equipment from Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg for Phase 2 of Kudankulam NPP (photo)

    By order of JSC Atomstroyexport during the period from June to September 2017 Incotec Cargo arranged receipt and warehousing the equipment of the 1st shipload in the territory of the Sea Port of Saint Petersburg for NPP in India. The shipment consisted of 687 items of different type of equipment (boxes, steel construction, pipelines, containers, tanks, frames, crane details) with the total volume of 13 200 freight tons. The shipment also included two Bridge Girders of Travelling Crane (the length of each – 41 meters, the weight 66 MT). Their transshipment was carried out by means of Floating Crane.

    On 15th September 2017 the Indian Customer presented mv Donald for loading and on 21st September 2017, in agreed term, the loading of the 1st shipload has been completed. At present time receipt and warehousing the equipment of the 2nd shipload carries out at the Port. Preliminary volume of the shipment is 8 500 freight tons and it is planned to be dispatched in early November of 2017. By the end of this year under the present Contract, it is also planned to dispatch the 3rd shipload.

    Incotec Cargo is a long-term partner of Atomstroyexport providing multimodal transport of power equipment for Tianwan NPS. Between 2000 and 2003, the company provided trucking, rail, maritime and inland transport from the manufacturer facilities via the port of St. Petersburg of complete power equipment with a total weight of 35,500 tonnes for the NPS-1 in China. The batches included 12 heavylift cargo of total weight of 4,500 tonnes.

    INCOTEC CARGO is a long-term partner of Atomstroyexport. It has been providing transport of power equipment for the first construction stage of NPP Kudankulam (Units 1 and 2), India, from 2002. Since that time the company shipped 357,000 t of project cargo (49 shiploads) including 12 units of super-heavy equipment (from 318 to 370 t per unit) and oversized equipment manufactured by Izhorskiye Zavody OJSC, Power Machines OJSC and ZiO-Podolsk OJSC. Besides the company delivered over 700 container with equipment for the Indian NPP.
