    Уровень локализации атомохода «Урал» достигает 95%

    Уровень локлаизации атомного ледокола «Урал» составляет порядка 95% от общей стоимости судна. Об этом, отвечая на вопрос ИАА ИАА «ПортНьюс», в ходе церемонии спуска на воду ледокола сообщил генеральный директор Балтийского завода Алексей Кадилов.

    Атомный ледокол «Урал» был заложен на Балтийском заводе 25 июля 2016 года, спущен на воду 25 мая 2019 года. Он стал вторым серийным универсальным атомным ледоколом проекта 22220.

    Всего по контракту с ФГУП «Росатомфлот» Балтийский завод строит три атомных ледокола проекта: «Арктика», «Сибирь» и «Урал».  Суда строятся на класс Российского морского регистра судоходства (РС). Технический проект атомоходов разработан ЦКБ «Айсберг» в 2009 году, главный конструктор В.М. Воробьев.

    Головной атомный ледокол «Арктика» проекта 22220 был заложен на Балтийском заводе 5ноября 2013 года. Спуск «Арктики» состоялся 16 июня 2016 года.

    26 мая 2015 года был заложен первый серийный ледокол проекта 22220 «Сибирь», спущен на воду 22 сентября 2017 года.

    Атомоходы проекта 22220 оснащены двухреакторной энергетической установкой с основным источником пара от реакторной установки РИТМ-200 мощностью 175 МВт.  Атомные ледоколы проекта 22220 станут самыми большими и самыми мощными (60 МВт) атомными ледоколами в мире. Двухосадочная конструкция судов позволяет использовать их как в арктических водах, так и в устьях полярных рек.
