  Ученые создадут систему управления льдами Баренцева моря для безопасной навигации

  Ученые Северного (Арктического) федерального университета (САФУ) имени М.В. Ломонова (г. Северодвинск, Архангельская область) совместно с коллегами из Норвегии, Швеции и Финляндии создадут систему управления льдами Баренцева моря. Как сообщает пресс-служба университета, 20–21 августа в САФУ проходит рабочая встреча по международному проекту «Управление льдами Баренцева моря», реализуемого при поддержке гранта Программы приграничного сотрудничества ЕС и России «Коларктик 2014-2020».
  
  Участие в мероприятии принимают партнеры из научно-образовательных и бизнес организаций Норвегии (Норвежский исследовательский институт NORUT), Швеции (Технологический университет Лулео), Финляндии (Storvik & Co OY, Финский метеорологический институт) и России (САФУ и Ассоциация поставщиков нефтегазовой промышленности «Созвездие»).
  
  Общей целью проекта является содействие промышленному развитию нефтегазопоисковых работ на арктических территориях посредством развития судоходной доступности, аккумулирования знаний о ледовых условиях и совершенствования прогнозных моделей ледовой обстановки для обеспечения производственной и экологической безопасности при разработке месторождений.
  
  Как пояснили в САФУ, работа над проектом запланирована на три года и предполагает совместное участие в международных полевых экспедициях, проведение исследований по ледовой обстановке территорий северных морей, изучение механики льда и численного моделирования ледовой нагрузки на оффшорные платформы.
  
  На текущем этапе проекта международная исследовательская группа проводит сбор данных, обмен информацией и анализ ледовой ситуации в Баренцевом море для дальнейшей разработки точных моделей и прогнозов.
  
  На рабочей встрече команда САФУ представила отчет по исследованиям ледовых условий, среды и экосистем Баренцева моря, а также результаты экспедиции «Арктического плавучего университета-2019». Полевые данные, полученные в ходе экспедиции, предстоит сопоставить с имеющимися спутниковыми снимками с целью комплексной оценки и представления полной информацию о ледовой обстановке.
