    Контейнерооборот индийского терминала APM Terminals в Мумбаи за 2019 год составил более 2 млн TEU

    Контейнерный терминал APM Terminals Mumbai (входит в сеть терминалов APM Terminals) в 2019 году обработал более 2 млн TEU экспортно-импортных грузов и порожних контейнеров. Аналогичный показатель грузооборота был зарегистрирован и в 2018 году, говорится в сообщении APM Terminals.

    Отмечается, что терминал в Мумбаи, введенный в эксплуатацию в 2006 году, остается единственным индийским контейнерным терминалом, достигшим такого рекордного показателя за календарный год.

    Крупнейший портовый и терминальный оператор APM Terminals (головной офис — Гаага, Нидерланды) входит в состав A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S. Основным направлением деятельности компании является проектирование, строительство, управление и эксплуатация морских портов и терминалов, а также «сухих» терминалов в рамках своей сети терминалов, расположенных в 67 странах мира и включающей активы в 74 порту и более 117 внутренних логистических сервисов. В компании работают 22 тыс. сотрудников в 58 странах мира. APM Terminals является также крупнейшим оператором портов и терминалов в Африке, управляющим 12 активами в 10 странах континента, в том числе перевалочных пунктов в Танжере, Марокко и Порт-Саиде (Египет). В настоящее время осуществляются проекты по расширению терминалов в порту Абиджан, Кот-д'Ивуар и Бадагри (Нигерия).
