    Три судна ASCO оборудованы системами очистки балластных вод

    Такими системами оснащены уже 10 судов пароходства

    Суда «Профессор Азиз Алиев», «Гянджа» и «Генерал Асланов», принадлежащие морскому транспортному флоту ЗАО «Азербайджанское Каспийское морское пароходство» (ASCO), оборудованы системами очистки балластных вод, сообщила пресс-служба пароходства.

    Монтаж указанной установки на судах осуществляется в соответствии со стандартом D2 Конвенции по «Управлению балластными водами», принятым IMO в 2017 году.

    Согласно требованиям IMO, необходимо иметь эту систему на каждом судне, построенном после даты принятия Конвенции и плавающем в международных водах. Устройство должно быть установлено на судах, построенных до указанной даты, к 2024 году.

    На данный момент 10 суда ASCO «Президент Гейдар Алиев», «Зарифа Алиева», «Азербайджан», «Шуша», «Гафур Мамедов», «Расул Рза», «Шаир Сабир», «Шаир Вагиф», «Калбаджар» и «Лачин» уже оснащены такой системой.

    Отмечается, что погрузка неочищенной от морской живности балластной воды на судно, ее транспортировка и сброс в иную морскую среду представляет большую угрозу для окружающей среды, здоровья человека и экономики.

    ЗАО «Азербайджанское Каспийское морское пароходство» создано в октябре 2013 года. В состав ASCO наряду с транспортным флотом входят специализированный флот и судоремонтные заводы. Транспортный флот состоит из 54 судов, в том числе 20 танкеров, 13 паромов, 15 универсальных сухогрузов, двух судов типа Ro-Ro, двух судов типа Ro-Pax, а также одного технического судна и одной плавучей мастерской. В состав специализированного флота входят 210 судов, в том числе 20 крановых, 25 буксирно-снабженческих, 26 пассажирских, два трубоукладывающих, шесть пожарных, семь инженерно-геологических, два водолазных и 88 служебных и вспомогательных судов.
