In 2018, tugboats of PORT FLEET CJSC performed about 7,000 mooring operations in Big Port St. Petersburg including 1,000 operations in ice conditions, Yevgeny Savkin, General Director of the company, told IAA PortNews.
This year, PORT FLEET CJSC has also performed several complicated operations on towing new facilities of RF Defence Ministry on the Neva river and the Ladoga lake.
“It should be noted that the number of mooring operations at Bronka port has increased in 2018 due to the increased number of calls to the port, - said Yevgeny Savkin. – We expect this trend to continue in 2019.”
As of today, PORT FLEET CJSC operates 25 vessels. One of the tugboats is located at MSCC Bronka on a permanent basis. The company is going to continue the development of its fleet in close cooperation with Russian shipyards.
