Oil price down to $39.74 in London and to $40.81 in New York

In London, the January Brent Crude contract was down $2.54 on December 5 to $39.74 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude for January delivery fell $2.86 to $40.81 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
