On September 26, a group of ships and supply vessels of the Northern Fleet under the leadership of the Deputy Commander of the Fleet Viktor Sokolov entered the Laptev Sea, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
In the assigned district, the ships will meet the icebreaker Yamal, which will lead them through ice dangerous areas of the Laptev Sea.
In total, the Northern Fleet ships have covered about 2 800 miles.
