Onezhsky Shipyard completes repairs of Enisey pilot boat

The Onezhsky Ship Building and Ship Repairing Plant has completed repairs of the Enisey pilot boat, which is the first vessel launched by the shipyard in 2015, Rosmorport says. It became possible to repair the boat after it was assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport”.

Enisey was not operated for many years and was in cold stack. After it was assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport”, the enterprise experts formed a crew, conducted technical certification and inventorying, and set a task for comprehensive repair works.

From early June 2015 Onezhky shipyard has been repairing the underwater part of the hull and rudder propeller unit. The steering, main and auxiliary engines have been completely overhauled, the boat systems and electric equipment have been restored and repaired, the underwater and overwater parts of the boat have been painted.

After successful sea trials, on 15 October 2015 the Enisey boat will go to Astrakhan Seaport as pilot’s base-boat.
