In January-March 2018, Russian seaports handled 189.61 mln t of cargo (+3.4%, year-on-year) including 88.13 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+9.8%) and 101.48 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-1.6%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 19.06 million tonnes (+18.8%) including 6.73 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+10.8%) and 12.33 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+23.6%).
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 58.62 million tonnes (-4.7%) including 24.94 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+7.5%) and 33.68 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-12.1%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 64.29 million tonnes (+8.7%) including 27.57 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+17.0%) and 36.72 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+3.3%).
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 1.33 million tonnes (+42.9%) including 0.79 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+17.2%) and 0.54 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (up 2.1 times).
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 46.31 million tonnes (+1.2%) including 28.1 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+4.9%) and 18.21 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-4.2%).
