Throughput of Russian seaports in 3M’19 grew by 4.7% to 201.80 million tonnes
In January-March 2019, Russian seaports handled 201.80 million tonnes of cargo (+4.7%, year-on-year) including 87.14 million tonnes of dry cargo (-1.3%) and 114.66 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+9.7%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 26.11 million tonnes (+ 24.9%) including 7.54 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+12.0%) and 18.57 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+ 31.1%).
Seaports of the Baltic basin handled 62.83 million tonnes (+5.1%) including 26.13 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+4.7%) and 36.70 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.3%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea basin handled 61.63 million tonnes (-4.4%) including 22.68 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-18.0%) and 38.95 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.8%).
Seaports of the Caspian basin handled 1.61 million tonnes (+20.8%) including 0.65 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-20.2%) and 0.96 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (up 1.8 times).
Seaports of the Far East basin handled 49.61 million tonnes (+7.1%) including 30.14 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+7.2%) and 19.47 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+7.0%).
