Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in 4M’20 fell by 16% to 149.5 million tonnes

In January-April 2020, port Shanghai (China) handled 149.5 million tonnes of cargo, down 16%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput of the port fell by 8.5% to 12.84 million TEUs.

In 2019, the port of Shanghai handled 538.31 million tonnes.
