Summer navigation of 2015 completed at Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg
On October 18th Marco Polo cruise ship called Passenger port of Saint Petersburg, concluding the summer cruise season of 2015, the Port says in its press release. The ship is owned by the British cruise company Cruise and Maritime Voyages. This was the fourth call of Marco Polo to Passenger port of Saint Petersburg in 2015 and the twenty-fourth in the history of port operation. The majority of tourists are the Ukraine citizens.
During its 13-day cruise the vessel has visited the ports of Tilbury, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Warnemünde, Tallinn, is spending two days in St. Petersburg and then going to Helsinki and Nynäshamn. In December the ship will be in the Mediterranean, and in January 2016 will embark on a transatlantic cruise to the shores of South America.
The next call of Marco Polo to Passenger port of Saint Petersburg is planned for May 8th, 2016.
Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 330 m long and with a draft of up to 8.8 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay-side length – 2,171.06 m.
