Rosnefteflot tug rescues two fishermen in the Gulf of Finland
The tug Dobrynya (owner Rosnefteflot) picked up two fishermen this early morning from the boat that was dead in the water in the Gulf of Finland, the State Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre said.
The fishermen (the locals of the Leningrad region), called for help using a cell phone at night of September 15, when the boat engine failed off the southern coast of the Gulf. The ship started drifting to the open sea.
The Dobrynya left the port of Ust-Luga at 10:25pm (MT), on Thursday to rescue the people. The two men were taken aboard safe at 1.00 am (MT) on Friday and delivered to the port of Ust-Luga.
