ANZDA applies Peak Season Surcharges in October
The Asia New Zealand Discussion Agreement (ANZDA) will impose Peak Season Surcharges on its Asia-New Zealand routes from October 2011, PortCalls reported.
Asianshipper.com reports that ANZDA member-carriers will charge PSS of $250 per 20TEU and $500 / 40 TEU for cargo from Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam to New Zealand effective October 15.
ANZDA is a voluntary discussion forum consisting of nine carriers: China Navigation, Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Maersk Line, MISC, MOL, NYK Line, OOCL and PIL.
