Daiichi Chuo Kisen orders three bulkers from IHIMU

Daiichi Chuo Kisen Kaisha has ordered a trio of 97,000 dwt bulkers from IHI Marine United (IHIMU). The Japanese shipowner has ordered three 97,000 dwt bulkers of a new design by IHIMU for delivery in June 2013 and January 2014. The vessels are being built to transport coal for Tokyo Electric Power Co.
