Daesun Shipbuilding seals contract for container ship

Daesun Shipbuilding & Engineering of South Korea sealed a newbuilding contract for one plus one 1,000 teu boxship with Korea's Shipping Bank. The ship will be long-term chartered by Korea Marine Transport Co., after its delivery in April 2013, with a newbuilding price tag of $19.8m. ?The ship is Daesun’s newly-developed energy-efficient 1,000 teu boxship design.
