Four Asian lines suspend China-Long Beach service
Coscon Container Lines, Hanjin Shipping, Pacific International Lines (PIL) and Wan Hai Lines announced on Thursday the suspension of the Central China-Long Beach Express (CLX) service during the forthcoming winter season, Seatrade Asia Online reports. PIL assured its customers that there will be no impact on its two weekly services provided by the company from China to Long Beach.
The PIL operated China Transpacific Service (CTP) covers the ports of Keelung, Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai (Waigaoqiao), Long Beach, Sydney, Melbourne, Tauranga, Brisbane, Kaohsiung and back to Qingdao.
PIL further announced that the port coverage of the Coscon/Wan Hai operated South China-WCNA (SEA) service will be enhanced to cover Cai Mep port in addition to calls at Nansha, Hong Kong, Yantian, Xiamen and Long Beach.
