International bunker supplier Chemoil Energy Limited (Chemoil) [AV5.SI] has today announced the appointment of Fred Bendle as its Chief Financial Officer, an SGX filing shows.
The filing by the SGX listed firm shows the appointment to be effective from August 14, 2012.
Bendle joined Chemoil in November 2010 as Director of Internal Audit with responsibility for overseeing the company's internal systems operations as well as making sure Chemoil meets all of its compliance obligations, with the filing shows he is an employee of the Glencore Group seconded to the Chemoil Group since then.
The listing indicates Bendle has terminated a position he also held at Chennai, India based California Software Company Limited where he was CEO from February 2012 to August 2012.
The departure of previous Chief Financial Officer Mats Henrik Berglund, who also served as Chief Operating Officer, was confirmed by Chemoil in May.
Berglund went on to join Pacific Basin Shipping Limited in Hong Kong as CEO.
