Sembcorp Marine bags $674m offshore modules contract
Sembcorp Marine's subsidiary Jurong do Brasil Prestacao de Services (JDB) won a $674m contract to build eight modules of integration works for two floating production storage and offloading vessels (FPSO) from Tupi, Seatrade Asia online reports.
The contract includes an option for Tupi to construct four modules and modules integration for a FPSO to be exercised within 18 months of the contract signing.
The work scope for the firm contract is scheduled for completion in 60 months. The fabrication of the modules and the integration of the FPSOs will be carried out in Sembcorp Marine's wholly owned Brazilian subsidiary Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz.
