APL expands Eagle GO. Guaranteed service to 29 Asian port origins

APL announced the extension of its Eagle GO. Guaranteed service to 29 Asian ports which are called by 22 APL North America-destined services, the company said in its press release. Introduced last October with four Asian ports of origin in China and Vietnam, this ocean freight guarantee product promises equipment and vessel space that surely gets a cargo loaded and shipped across the Trans-Pacific.

“During the recent peak leading up to the Lunar New Year, shippers turned to APL’s Eagle GO. Guaranteed to get their urgent shipments going without the concerns of equipment and vessel space shortages. In scaling up the Eagle GO. Guaranteed service to 25 more Asian ports, we seek to benefit more shippers, in particular those loading from the major ports of Busan, Jakarta, Qingdao and Xiamen amongst others,“ said Jesper Stenbak, Senior Vice President of APL’s Trans-Pacific Trade.

Effective from 1 March 2018, APL’s Eagle GO. Guaranteed service will apply to 15 US West Coast-destined services; and seven US East Coast-bound loops that pick up cargo from the ports of Busan, Cai Mep, Dalian, Fuqing, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Kobe, Laem Chabang, Lianyungang, Mundra, Nagoya, Naha, Nansha, Nhava Sheva, Ningbo, Port Kelang, Port Qasim, Qingdao, Sendai, Shanghai, Shekou, Singapore, Taipei, Tianjin, Tokyo, Xiamen, Yantian and Yokohama.

APL’s Eagle GO. Guaranteed, together with Eagle GET. Guaranteed and Eagle REACH. Guaranteed services, forms APL’s suite of Eagle Guaranteed services that are backed by a money-back guarantee.

APL’s Eagle GET. Guaranteed service assures an expeditious discharge of cargo on board the EX1, SC1 and PE1 services at the Global Gateway South (GGS) terminal in Los Angeles. Eagle GET. Guaranteed shipments are discharged within 12 hours of commencement of vessel cargo operations and available on chassis.
