Mrs C.L. (Carola) Broers-Keuning (47) is to be appointed the new managing director of Rotterdam Bulk Terminal B.V. with effect from 1 October 2008. She succeeds Mr B.C. (Bas) Heezen (52), who was appointed in 2001. Mr Heezen is to leave RBT at the end of the year, allowing his successor time to settle in.
Carola Broers has held various posts, including positions with European Bulk Services (E.B.S.) B.V., a subsidiary of HES Beheer, and with one of the legal predecessors of EBS. Since 1 February 2000, she has been a member of the EBS Management Team as Head of Personnel & Organisation.
The shareholders of RBT, Maja Stuwadoors Groep B.V. and H.E.S. Beheer N.V., which each hold a 50% interest, thank Bas Heezen for his commitment over the years and wish Carola Broers every success in her new job.
