Yang Ming, the big Taiwan carrier has announced that a new service starting at the end of the month will run weekly from Dubai to the Iraqi port of Umm Qasr.
The Dubai and Umm Qasr Express Service 2 (DUX2) will deploy the 580-TEU YM Doha. It will join the existing DUX, which deploys the 338-TEU YM Xiamen, connecting Iraq with the Far East via transshipment at Dubai to the China-Gulf Express (CGX).
