CACI International wins $150M shipyard contract

CACI International Inc. has won a five-year, $150 million contract to upgrade IT systems at shipyards and maintenance centers, doubling the company’s maintenance legacy work with the Navy. Under the contract, awarded by the U.S. Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Command, CACI will modernize computer equipment in use at shipyards. The contract also includes software development.
CACI says the contract consolidates 15 maintenance contracts for IT services at Naval facilities across the country.
CACI , which gets the majority of its revenue from the military, had $23.5 million in fiscal fourth quarter net income, up 13 percent from a year ago. Fourth quarter sales rose 26 percent to $655 million.
The company has forecast 2009 revenue of as much as $2.65 billion, up as much as 10 percent from 2008 sales.
