Container throughput of Moby Dick terminal up 18.7% to 148,800 TEU in Jan-Aug 08
In January-August 2008, throughput of Moby Dick container terminal totaled 148,800 TEU (+18.7%, year-on-year). In August, the terminal handled 22,000 TEU (+32.5%).
Container terminal of Moby Dick LLC was put into operation in 2002. It is located in Kronshtadt on Kotlin island. In 2007, container terminal of Moby Dick LLC handled over 200,000 TEU. The terminal is owned on a parity basis by a Finnish corporation Container Finance Group and Global Ports (part of N-Trans Group).
