The Grand Alliance will further improve its cargo hub services in the Mediterranean by switching its transhipment hub from Gioia Tauro to Cagliari International Container Terminal (CICT) in southern Sardinia, Italy.
From mid-September, customers using the EU2 and AEX services will benefit from the lack of congestion at Cagliari and the resulting increased schedule reliability.
