The number of cars exported to Russia via Finland is expected to exceed one million this year, a new record high. Russia now gets more than 70 percent of all its new cars from the Finnish transit. Over one million vehicles are to be transferred to Russia through the Hanko, Kotka and Hamina ports this year. That is twice the number compared to a couple years ago, Yle News reports according to BbarentsObserver.
