JIANGSU'S foreign trades rose 21.9 per cent year on year to US$229.5 billion in the first seven months, reports Xinhua.
Provincial exports totalled $135.2 billion and imports $94.4 billion with a trade surplus of $40.78 billion in the first seven months. Exports from the processing trade grew 16.4 per cent to $132.8 billion in value, while the imports and exports of general trade surged 33.8 per cent to $78.2 billion.
Provincial imports and exports in July totalled $37.2 billion in value, which reached a trade surplus of $7.3 billion, a record 45.3 per cent leap.
