Mazeikiu Nafta and Klaipedos Nafta signed agreement on leftover oil products

On Monday, at the Economy Ministry of Lithuania, the oil refinery Mazeikiu Nafta, owned by the Polish concern PKN Orlen, signed an agreement on the realization of old leftover oil products with the national company Klaipedos Nafta.
Leftover petrol, diesel fuel and other kinds of oil products at the oil terminal are worth of about 40 million litas (11.511 million euros) and were accumulated up to 2005, when Mazeikiu Nafta was owned by the U.S. company Williams, The Baltic Course reports according to RZD-Partner.
The leftover products evolved when the railway tanks were reloaded, products were transported by sea or by some other way. It was decided to realize the leftover and to split the received revenues into appropriate parts.
Mazeikiu Nafta will receive the majority of the sum for unsold products and Klaipedos Nafta will get a part for the storage of leftover and other services.
