Baltkran receives container crane order
Kaliningrad-based firm Baltkran has received an order for a container crane from an intermodal terminal in Artem. Delivery is planned later this year.
The 35t capacity crane will have 32m span, including two cantilevers with working outreach to 8m and stacking height of 2+1. The crane will be equipped with a telescopic spreader for high-capacity containers (20, 30, 40 and 45ft).
The crane has special features due to severe onsite weather conditions including treated mechanical and electrical components and a heated operator cabin.
More than 10 Baltkran wide-span gantry container cranes have been delivered to the Far East since 2000.
