Eurasia Logistics to raise project investments
The developer of the chain of industrial parks Eurasia Logistics intends to increase the investments in construction of a logistics complex in the Saratov (Volga) region from RUR 2.1bn (US$ 89.53mn EUR 57.46mn) to RUR 5.2bn and the area of A class complex from 100,000 square metres to 300,000 square metres.
The construction is to start in 2009 and complete on 2012. At the moment the demand for A class warehouses in the Saratov region is estimated at 40,000 square metres (according to Knight Frank Russia). The demand may increase due to the growth in cargo turnover by 2012, Logistics Finland reports according to RZD-Partner.
