CMA CGM has announced the launch of a new version of its NEMO service, which becomes NEW NEMO (North Europe, Mediterranean, Oceania).
Operated as a 50-50 partnership with Hapag Lloyd, NEW NEMO will now serve Australia directly from Europe and the Mediterranean, offering the fastest and only direct and dedicated link from Europe to Australia via the Suez Canal.
NEW NEMO will deploy 12 vessels of 2,800 TEU capacity with six CMA CGM vessels providing significant reefer carrying capacity.
The 84-day round-trip voyage will start from Tilbury to Hamburg, Rotterdam, Le Havre, La Spezia, Damietta, Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Singapore, Port Kelang, Chennai, Colombo, Damietta, Malta and end at La Spezia.
The first vessel to be deployed on the NEW NEMO will be the CMA CGM Galilée at end of November from North Europe.
