Ocean Wilsons Holdings Ltd. said its flaghip operating company Wilson Sons Ltd. has completed its 250-metre berth expansion at its Rio Grande Container Terminal, four years in advance.
Originally planned for completion in 2012, the $100 million project will enable simultaneous access to more ships and increase annual container movement capacity to 1.13 million TEUs.
The terminal accounts today for 96 percent of the total container cargo moved through the Port of Rio Grande.
