Canada Transpacific Stabilisation Agreement reduces bunker surcharge 10pc from November 1

The Canada Transpacific Stabilisation Agreement (CTSA) has announced it is reducing its bunker surcharge 10 per cent from November. 1.
This follows a nine per cent cut in fuel surcharges that took effect on Wednesday. The surcharge will be: US$976 per TEU, $1,220 per FEU, $1,373 per 40-foot high-cube, $1,545 per 45-footer and $27 weight/measure adjustment.
CTSA's currency adjustment factor will remain at five per cent in November, applicable from all origins including Japan and China.
The 12 CTSA member lines are APL, Cosco Container Lines, Evergreen, Hanjin, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai, "K" Line, MOL, NYK, OOCL, Yang Ming and Zim.
