Three Taiwan-based container lines, Evergreen Line, Yang Ming Marine and Cheng Lie Navigation launched a new joint service which they say will provide customers with a competitive service network linking key ports in North/Central China, Hong Kong, Philippines and Java.
Four 1,500 TEU vessels jointly operated by three carriers were deployed with the following port rotation: Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Hong Kong – Manila (North Port) – Manila (South Port) – Jakarta – Surabaya – Manila (South Port) – Hong Kong – Qingdao. The first sailing departed from Qingdao on 1 October 1.
