OAO RZD increased the volume of cargo transportation by 1.8% to gain 1.148bn ton over the 10-month period, the company informed.
The coal transfer rose 4.9% to 218mln ton; coke - 6.7% to 10mln ton; oil and derivatives - 0.4% to 174.4ml ton; ferrous metals - 3.7% to 64.8mln ton; cement - declined 8.4% to 29.4mln ton.
The cargo turnover increased 5.4% to 1.626bn tariff ton/km.
