Throughput of port Temryuk up 81.9% to 1.7 mln t in Jan-Sep 08

In January-September, 2008, port Temryuk handled 1.736 million tonnes of cargo (+81.94%, year-on-year), Taman branch of RosMorPort FSUE reports according to Gudok referring to Interfax. In the reported period the port handled 154,356 tonnes of sawn timber, 126,673 tonnes of chemical goods, 34,121 tonnes of grain, 25,249 tonnes of scrap metal, 179,403 tonnes of ferrous metal, 1.209 million tonnes of general cargo, 6,474 tonnes of fertilizers. In the 9-month period the port handled 539 vessels.
